Kenapa Malaysian Insider Marah Buku MAIS, “Pendedahan Agenda Kristian”?

The Malaysian Insider (TMI) made a big issue about MAIS’s new book entitled, “Pendedahan Agenda Kristian”.

I wonder what is TMI’s intention in highlighting the issue?

From the articles written by TMI about the ‘Seminar Kristiologi Dan Mempertahankan Kalimah Allah’, I do not think that TMI is trying to promote the book.

Has TMI being fair in their reporting or did they have hidden agenda?

And after reading the comments written by TMI’s readers, I guess TMI did a good job if their intention is to spew hatred towards MAIS, UITM, PDRM, the Muslims and the government.

Those readers wrote crazy comments in harsh words and bad language bashing the Muslims, MAIS, Muslims activists and the government over the book that they have not read.

Isn’t it crazy to spew nasty words over a book that they had not read?

If TMI has good intention, why didn’t they mention what was written in the book’s introduction page?

The book did not tell the Muslim to hate the Christians as what TMI might meant to imply.

In fact it tells the Muslims not to hate the Christians.

I read the book, but have any of the TMI readers read the book before slandering MAIS, Muslims activists, the Muslims and the government?

Before we make a judgement, we must check the facts.

So before they judge the book, they must read the book.

What is wrong about students reading a book about the Christianisation strategy?

That is better than reading entertainment magazines or taking part in anti GST demonstration when they themselves do not know what is GST.

Not every body wants to be like PAS’s Mujahid Yusof Rawa who is ready to bash at anything that hurt his unofficial boss but says nothing when his boss, Haji Hadi (PAS’s president) was bashed by TMI.

I think its because many people feel its unfair when you guys are allowed to insult other people’s religion and when other religion question your faith, there will be fatwa and death threats.

      Dear Agnelius,
re: “its unfair when you guys are allowed to insult other people’s religion”
Malaysian Insider insults Islam everyday especially the comments that they approve.
      re: “death threats”
Yes, I read about death threats to the Muslim activist and even the police in some comments in TMI and facebooks.
Have you read the MAIS’s book? Please read the book and see if MAIS tries to spew hatred.

so do you agree that this type of seminar can be allowed in an Institution like UiTM? Why not allowed Christian Evangelist to do the same too. Christian also have apostasy and it is also a sin. Isn’t enough to just have some Islamic Study (ie TITAS) in local university that is a requirement to the non-muslim to be taken to.

        Dear dissapointed,
Were you at the seminar? Is it fair to make a judgement after reading a one sided story? Have you read MARA’s side of the story?
I’m sure that Christian Evangelist groups have lots of their own programs and we are not complaining. UiTM belongs to MARA and those reports that condemned the seminar come from people who are not happy with MARA. The Malays do not complain about UTAR.
Dimana bumi dipijak di situ langit dijunjung. Article 3(1) says that Islam is the religion of the Federation. Article 11(4) says that “State law and in respect of the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Lubuan, federal law may control or restrict the propagation of any religious doctrine or belief among persons professing the religion of Islam”.
I’m not against other religions but it is not fair to bash the Muslims for things that is not true. If Christian Evangelist groups made such programs they’ll say that it is their right to do so as in Article 11(3) but they forget that Article 11(3) also applies to other religions too.

      Dear Parameswara,
I agree with you. The Malaysian Insider should do that since they got the book. It is unfair for TMI to spin the facts from the book without giving their readers the chance to think logically.
