PKR Deputy president, Azmin Ali was sworn in as the new Menteri Besar of Selangor on Tuesday.
Like Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim, Azmin also took the 10 Akujanji (10-point pledge) before Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sharafuddin as shown in this video…
But will Azmin be obeying all directives and decisions issued by the Sultan of Selangor as what he pledged in his Aku Janji or will he be taking orders from Anwar Ibrahim, for example on the Kalimah Allah issue?
Sultan Sharafuddin had issued a decree regarding the misuse of the word Allah by the Herald and Malay Bible, and told them to stop using the word Allah as the translation of the word god but Anwar Ibrahim, Azmin and Azmin’s party had openly disagree with the Sultan.
Now, will Azmin dare to go against his Aku Janji on this matter?
If he follows the Sultan and go against Anwar, then Anwar might sack him from PKR as what Anwar did to Khalid Ibrahim.
But if Azmin follows Anwar’s orders then he will break the Aku Janji that he pledged to the Sultan of Selangor.
The Selangor MB, Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim will be meeting the Sultan of Selangor tomorrow to ask for the Sultan’s advice regarding the Selangor’s MB crisis.
He also said that the meeting will take place at 3.20 p.m. and he will be holding a press conference at 4 p.m. tomorrow.
The location of the press conference will be announced soon.
Wan Azizah, in her press statement said that Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim must step down from his MB post because she is now voted by the majority of the ADUNs of Selangor as the MB of Selangor.
But Wan Azizah must not forget that in order to become the MB of Selangor, the candidate must be accepted by the Sultan of Selangor and not only by the ADUNs of Selangor.
The Constitution of Selangor says that His Highness has the right to reject any MB candidate that His Highness thinks is not fit to become the MB.
Is Wan Azizah trying to push the Sultan? (Credit to helenang.worpress.com)
I think that it is very rude for theunregistered Pakatan leaders to make all kind of statements to force His Highness to accept Wan Azizah as the MB.
And according to the Constitution of Selangor, the MB should be a “he”.
And well, obviously Wan Azizah is a she and not a he; or do the ADUNs supporting Wan Azizah think that Wan Azizah is actually a he?
And they must also remember that Wan Azizah was born in Singapore and not in Selangor.
Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was very angry when Tan Sri Khalid supporters exercising their human rights to hold a peaceful demonstration against PKR in front of the PKR Headquarters.
Anwar even accused them of betraying the party!
The Star reported that the PKR members claimed that the PKR election committee is “worse than the Election Commission”.
The demonstrator held anti-Azmin Ali placards and demanded for disciplinary action to be taken against the deputy president Azmin, Secretary General Datuk Saifuddin Nasution and Datuk Dr Tan Kee Keong.
So, Anwar against peaceful protest?
But I thought Anwar was the one who told the international media that the people have the rights to go to the street to protest.
