My Highlights of 2017

With the arrival of the new year of 2018, I’m writing a post dedicated to 2017, listing out some of the things that happened around me in the previous year.

1. A surprise letter from Tun M, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia

On the 12th of January, I received a letter from Tun Dr. Mahathir, replying to my article,“Perjanjian DAP, PKR, PAN, PPBM Untuk Meminda Perkara 3(1)?” In the article, I did not even mention Tun M’s name but only commented about how the word ‘bebas’ in the agreement between DAP, PKR, PAN and Mahathir’s PPBM can undermine and violate the Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution. So Tun M replied to my article came as a real surprise but unfortunately I am sad to say that not only Tun M’s explanation does not answer my question, but it also makes the matter more confusing because the fact that the Article 3(1) is the Article that explains about Islam as the religion of the Federation and it’s position over other religions in Malaysia and not about the rights to convert to other religions. 2. Made the news on national media

I was interviewed by Berita Harian, Utusan Malaysia and Harian Metro and was featured on the front page of Utusan Malaysia which later led me to being reported on news portals including Astro Awani, MalaysiaKini,  Free Malaysia Today, Tanjak and many others receiving attention from several politicians like Mejar Jeneral (B) Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom, Dr. Asyraf Wajdi, Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah and Ibrahim Ali. [Read more…]

Will Dr. Kamarul Accept DAP Man’s Challenge To Deregister DAP?

mk-drk

Yesterday, MalaysiaKini reported that Johor DAP leader, Sheikh Omar Ali dares Mapan’s director Dr. Kamarul Zaman Yusoff to “try and get the party de-registered if their claims were true”.

MalaysiaKini wrote that the DAP man was referring to Dr. Kamarul Zaman Yusoff’s article with the title, “DAP Memang Anti-Islam”.

Johor DAP assistant publicity chief Sheikh Omar Ali said those accusing DAP of being anti-Islam should try and get the party de-registered if their claims were true.

He said this in reference to a commentary by Universiti Utara Malaysia’s Institute for Malaysian Political Analysis (Mapan) director Kamarul Zaman Yusuf titled ‘DAP memang anti-Islam’ (DAP is indeed anti-Islam).

~MalaysiaKini.

Sheikh Omar Ali then added:

“If Kamarul Zaman Yusuf is man enough to stand by his accusation that DAP is anti-Islam, then I challenge him to take legal action to get DAP deregistered as it (being anti-Islam) goes against the spirit of the Federal Constitution,” he said in a statement today.

~MalaysiaKini

Will Dr. Kamarul accept the serious challenge to “try and get the party de-registered” as dared by Johor DAP assistant publicity chief?

TANJAK – Young blogger expects senior leaders to understand constitution

Last week, news portal, Tanjak contacted me for my reaction towards the baseless and bias comments made by Lim Guan Eng and his supporters in order to ridicule my ability and knowledge on the matters concerning my November 23, 2016 police report against LGE.

Below is the article taken from Tanjak regarding this matter.

Prominent young blogger Ahmad Ali Abdul Karim, who lodged a police report against Lim Guan Eng, is unfazed by the scurrilous attacks against his person made by hardcore pro-opposition and leftist elements.

Ali’s police report concerned the Penang chief minister cum DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng with regard to the latter’s Nov 24 last year statement on the proposed bill to amend the Syariah Courts (Criminal Jurisdiction Act) 1965 commonly known as RUU355 that was proposed PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang.

Lim Guan Eng, DAP party secretary-general and Chief Minister of Penang

According to Ali’s police report lodged, the statement made by Lim contains seditious elements designed to mislead the Malaysian public on the nature of the amendment proposed, among others by claiming that RUU355 contravenes the federal constitution.

Young blogger subjected to insults, derision

While the young blogger’s action in lodging the report has received glowing praise, including from Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki, supporters of the Penang Chief Minister did not mask their contempt for the move as well as the blogger himself.

The Dapsters were sceptical of the deputy minister’s opinion that the young lad knew the constitution better than Lim.

Their comments deluged the social media and pages of leftist news outlets such as MalaysiaKini attacking Ail’s credibility and accusing the teenager of being a stooge for the BN-led federal government.

MalaysiaKini report quoting Deputy Minister in the PM’s Dept over blogger Ali Abdul Karim’s police report against Lim Guan Eng

One commentator on MalaysiaKini, ‘JusticeNow!’ likened the move by Ali to the use of children as soldiers by corrupt regimes dominating the African continent, saying that just when one would think that Umno/BN “cannot go any lower”, they go ahead and do so and that Ali is a “forced recruit child soldier under the hegemony and exploitation of (the) BN/UMno (government)”.

Another, “Thickskin” suggested that Karim be made the new attorney-general since he knows more about the constitution.

Astoundingly, one commentator, “Anonymous_1429175092” went as far as to accuse the young blogger of being “jealous” of how the Penang state government was currently run, stating blithely that he had “no standard whether in merit, capability, knowledge, and foresight” and was childish to boot.

The response of the leftists on MalaysiaKini is hardly surprising given the pro-DAP news portal’s tendency for far-left slanted reporting, which has attracted fanatical supporters of the much maligned ethnic Chinese-based party.

Groups of DAP supporters have been known to regularly converge on pro-opposition Malaysian news portals to engage in race-baiting and bashing everything that is Malay and Islamic in origin as inferior to their Western and Chinese counterparts.

Tthe Red Bean Army (RBA), an organised group of DAP cybertroopers, is the best known example of these.

Previously, a sImilar responses had been recorded in response to the proposalby Gabungan Pelajar Melayu Semenanjung (GMPS) president Zamri Mohd Isa in response to his urging of prime minister Najib Razak not to grant official recognition of the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC) in last Novermber.

Blogger doubles down on LGE’s misrepresentation

When contacted by the Tanjak news team for comment, the blogger denied he was being used as an agent by any party nor that he had any political motive, save to maintain Malaysia’s racial and religious harmony and defend the constitution.

Ali was also unfazed by the barrage of personal attacks mounted by the abovementioned elements on social media.

He responded that the commentators would seem to be deliberately overlooking the attempt by certain non-Muslim leaders, including the Penang chief minister, to undermine Islam’s position as enshrined in the constitution.

DAP, MCA and Gerakan all work together in defending and promoting Chinese interests in Malaysia and undermining Islam as the religion of the federation

He referred to Articles 3(1) of the constitution (on Islam’s status as the religion of the Federation) and 11(1) (freedom of religion) (as applied in the case of Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Kuala Lumpur v Kementerian Dalam Negeri & Kerajaan Malaysia) as the constitutional provisions that non-Muslim leaders such as Lim were guilty of wilful violation, in particular with regard to the position of Islam in the public sphere and the right of Muslims to practice their faith respectively.

He also stated that it was misleading of Lim to claim that he was merely expressing his opinion as a citizen and that “blocking” him using the Sedition Act would amount to the rakyat “not being able to have opinions anymore”.

“As a chief minister, [Lim] must understand that the four sensitive issues mentioned in section 3(1)(f) of the Sedition Act 1948 cannot be questioned, even in Parliament. Even the president of Isma [Abdullah Zaik Abd Rahman] was found guilty under the Act,” the young blogger told Tanjak.

Clear elements of seditious tendency in LGE’s statement

The young lad cited at least two parts of Lim’s statement that were clearly seditious in nature.

The first was the call by Lim for non-Muslim BN component parties to “leave” BN over the proposed tabling of RUU355, which the blogger claimed would exerbate racial and religious relations. The second would be the claim by Lim that Umno and PAS were working together to “bypass” the constitution.

The blogger argued that Lim in his capacity as chief minister of Penang ought to have known better as his public statements may influence the way his supporters view issues as after all, they would naturally trust his judgment on public matters.

“I may be immature but I understand that I cannot intepret the [constitution] for my own gain. [The constitution] is the foundation of my country and I want our leaders to respect our supreme law,” he added.

Tun M, Janganlah Menghina Nabi S.A.W.

– MalaysiaKini

(Sila rujuk minit ke 16:45 dalam video diatas)

Seterusnya MalaysiaKini melaporkan Tun M berkata:

“Tetapi nabi tak ada RM2.6 bilion dalam akaun dia, juga (tak ada) 1MDB,” katanya disambut ketawa orang ramai. – MalaysiaKini.

Dalam laporan sama MalaysiaKini menulis Tun M membuat kenyataan di atas semasa menghadiri Konvensyen Tahunan DAP, sebagai mengulas kenyataan Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi di Perhimpunan Agung UMNO.

MalaysiaKini melaporkan Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi sebagai berkata:

“Takdir Allah SWT mengkehendakinya begitu (Najib menjadi presiden UMNO dan Perdana Menteri Malaysia)”. – MalaysiaKini

Kemudian, Datuk Rizal Mansor telah menulis di dalam Facebooknya:

mahathir-perlekeh-nabi-muhammad

  9. Semoga Tun M sedar akan ketelanjurannya.

Tun M: “Perdana Menteri Buat Demonstration” (Video)

Many videos of Tun Dr Mahathir’s (Tun M) statements at the 50th DAP National Convention were released, among them by KiniTV.

Watching those videos, I wonder what had happened to Tun M, for those statements made by him were as ridiculous as those made by PAN’s Mohamad Sabu or Mat Sabu.

For example, in the video below, in which he said that a government do not hold demonstrations and a Prime Minister should not be demonstrating.

Tun M was answering questions from a reporter regarding the ‘Himpunan Solidariti Ummah untuk Rohingya’ which was held on the 4th of December at the Titiwangsa Stadium, attended by both UMNO’s and PAS’s president.

Media supporting opposition parties like MalaysiaKini and KiniTV are very excited about Tun M’s government and PM Najib bashing and wrote headlines about the matter.

I agree with MalaysiaKini Stephen Ng’s article, “Only Najib is capable of doing it”, that the video is “worth watching again and again” because it is so funny to see how Tun Dr Mahathir, who had turned into a street demonstrator from a statesman, thinks that other people too are turning into street demonstrators, just like him.

“What mesmerised me yesterday was the way the nonagenarian responded to a question posed by a journalist about Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak’s participation in the Rohingya solidarity demonstration. The video clip posted by KiniTV is worth watching again and again.” – MalaysiaKini

The question is, when does Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak  participate in a demonstration?

And since when has a ‘himpunan‘ or an assembly becomes a ‘demonstrasi‘ or a demonstration?

Seriously, how can a smart man like Tun M make such a statement that makes him sounds like a not so smart politician?

Maybe Tun M ‘sudah lupa’ that in his days as a Prime Minister, he too had attended a lot of himpunan or assemblies and the best example is the yearly ‘Perhimpunan Agung UMNO’ or the General Assembly of UMNO which he attended as the president of UMNO.

Is Tun M trying to tell us that he had been leading demonstrations year after year in his long years as the UMNO president and the Prime Minister of Malaysia?

In the same article, MalysiaKini wrote:

“Even at 92, Dr Mahathir’s mind is still very sharp. I can imagine Najib reeling under the force of the punch after Dr Mahathir poked at him: “When you are in the government, what is there to demonstrate about?” “- MalaysiaKini

Are people in MalaysiaKini seriously thinking that inability to understand the difference between an assembly and a demonstration is the sign that, “Dr Mahathir’s mind is still very sharp”?

Now I wonder if the video is an attempt to ridicule Tun M.

Anyway, watching Tun M speaking in the video, I really pity him, Tun M really has disgraced himself.

Is Muhyiddin Still “A Malay First”?

“I am a Malay first!” stated Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin as he accused DAP’s Parliamentary Leader, Lim Kit Siang’s statement as “to put a wedge between the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister.”

That happened six years ago when Tan Sri Muhyiddin was still the Deputy Prime Minister and the, “I am a Malay first” was regarded as a heroic statement by the members of UMNO, in accordance with UMNO’s spirit of “alif, ba, ta (agama, bangsa dan tanahair)” or religion, race and nation.

Below is the video of his statement originally released by MalaysiaKini’s KiniTV.

But now the former Deputy Prime Minister seems to change his mind.

He joined Tun Dr. Mahathir to team up with the enemies of UMNO who are against Islam, the Malay rights and the Federal Constitution such as Lim Kit Siang, Tony Pua, Teresa Kok, Tian Chua, Ambiga Sreenevasan, Maria Chin, and others.

By teaming up with those enemies of UMNO, he is now against his own party and what he said six years ago.

When he said, “I am a Malay first”, it automatically means he is also saying that he is a Muslim first because according to the interpretation of Malay in the Clause 2 of the Article 160 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia:

“…“Malay” means a person who professes the religion of Islam, habitually speaks the Malay language, conforms to Malay custom…”

So how could he becomes teammates with Lim Kit Siang and happily sharing a couch with him?

IMG-20160305-WA0007

Is Lim Kit Siang more Malay and Islamic than PM Najib to the former Deputy Prime Minister?

Has Tan Sri Muhyiddin forgotten that Lim Kit Siang had rudely made a malicious accusation that a verse from the Quran, the verse 120 of Surah Al-Baqarah caused religious hatred and blamed JAKIM for using the verse in a Khutbah Jumaat?

By teaming up with Lim Kit Siang who is clearly against Islam and the Malay rights, Tan Sri Muhyiddin is now against his own principles of Malay first.

His other new teammate, Tony Pua among others had humiliated the law and principals of Islam by making fun of the Islamic view regarding Valentines Day.

In his Chinese New Year video, Tony Phua again makes fun of the Muslims by mocking a Saudi Arabian Muslim in a very humiliated ways.

Another new teammate of Tan Sri Muhyiddin, Teresa Kok had ordered the Jawi script on road signs of Jalan Bukit Bintang and Jalan Taman Seputeh to be abolished.

p10203551a imgp4219a1

Jawi is the original script of the Malay language, and the Malay Language is the national Language according to the Article 152 of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia.

(1) The national language shall be the Malay language and shall be in such script…

Tian Chua who is another of Tan Sri Muhyiddin’s new teammate, on February 2013 made a malicious and uncalled comment about the Lahad Datu standoff saying that the death of ten policemen and soldiers from our PDRM and ATM including nine Malays who were protecting Lahad Datu was just a “sandiwara UMNO” or a theatrical staged by UMNO as a conspiracy to distract and scare the people because of the general election.

Picture1

Ambiga and Maria Chin are both Bersih leaders that organised illegal demonstrations against the government, creating havoc and disorder and promoting the anarchy ideology which is against the principals of the Malay and Islam.

They, who are also behind COMANGO, are fighting for the LGBT rights which is against Islam apart from fighting for parts of the Islamic laws to be abolished.

COMANGO demands Malaysia to:

  1. Sign the International Covenant on Civil & Political Rights (ICCPR) which is against the Articles 3(1) and 11(4) of the Federal Constitution of Malaysia.

  2. Sign the International Covenant on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination  (ICERD) which is against Article 153 of the Federal Constitution that gives special rights and position of the Malays and the Bumiputras (indigenous people of the Sabah and Sarawak).

  3. Sign SOGI Rights (Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity) to legalise LGBTIQ  which is against Article 3(1) of the Federal Constitution and also the Malaysian law.

  4. Demands that some enactments of the Syariah Law to be abolished which is against Article 3(1) and against the second principle of the Rukun Negara that says, “Loyalty to the king and country,” because the king is the protector of Islam.

What Bersih and COMANGO are fighting for are against the Federal Constitution as Islam is the religion of the Federation.

bendera-lgbt

Tan Sri Muhyiddin whom once claimed to be a Malay first, has now become teammates with people who are against Islam and the special rights and position of the Malays and the Bumiputras.

Maybe now he has changed his mind about being a Malay first for, on the 27th of February 2016, he made a new statement:

“Ketepikan sentimen kaum, agama dan ideologi untuk ke arah mewujudkan sebuah kerajaan yang adil, amanah dan berintegriti.”

Isn’t it weird that just because he is against the Prime Minister, his personal principals and views have changed and he is now teammates to the people who are trying to destroy his party that had once made him a Deputy Prime Minister?

Is Lim Kit Siang more Malay and Islamic than PM Najib to the former Deputy Prime Minister?

His actions hurt the Malays and UMNO members who had voted for him.

Kalau marahkan nyamuk jangan bakar kelambu, jangan sampai menang sorak, kampung tergadai.

PAS’s U-Turn: Is It Just A Trick?

So, PAS has got the information from the palace that Wan Azizah might not be accepted by the Sultan of Selangor to become the Selangor Menteri Besar?

Malaysiakini wrote that PAS’s Khalid Samad said:

“Sebenarnya PAS mencadangkan Azmin kerana kita dapat maklum dari pihak istana kemungkinan istana tak sanggup terima Wan Azizah. Atas dasar itu kita cadangkan nama Azmin sekali.”

“Sebab utama kerana kita dapat maklumat dari istana. Itu sebab utama. Tapi kita tengoklah. Sebahagian ahli PAS kata cuba dulu. Kalau sultan tolak, biarlah sultan tolak. Maknanya, bukan kita (PAS) yang tolak, tapi sultan.”

With this statement, it proves that PAS knows that Wan Azizah might not be accepted by the Sultan.

So did Haji Hadi agree to nominate Wan Azizah as the MB because he knows that the Sultan will not accept her?

If the answer is “yes”, it means that Haji Hadi is smarter than Anwar Ibrahim because agreeing to what Anwar wanted is just like a trick by Haji Hadi.

But if PAS received the information about how the place feels about Wan Azizah, it is almost impossible for Anwar to not be informed about it.

Surely Mat Sabu or Khalid Samad or other Anwaris must had told Anwar about it.

So, why must PKR and DAP keep insisting that Wan Azizah is the one and only candidate for the MB post?

Do PKR and DAP think that they are more powerful than the Sultan of Selangor and are trying to force the Sultan of Selangor to accept Wan Azizah?

Supporting Teluk Intan DAP’s Candidate; Where is PAS’s Principle?

PAS’s deputy presiden, Mohamad Sabu (Mad Sabu) said that PAS will work hard to help DAP’s candidate in the coming Teluk Intan by-election.

Rakyat News reported Mad Sabu said:

“Kami daripada Pas akan berkerja seperti Pas yang bertanding pada PRK Teluk Intan ini.”

This is really funny because Malaysiakini reported that the by-election candidate, Dyana Sofya has made a statement that she will not vote for hudud if she wins the election.

So, PAS will make sure that a Muslim who will vote against PAS’s Hudud Bill in the parliament if she later becomes a Member of Parliament will win the by-election and becomes an MP.

It is really hard to understand when somebody is helping another person to go against them. Kini 1

PAS used to call UMNO’s leader as “kafir” because they said that UMNO’s leaders do not want Hudud.

But why is PAS supporting a Malay DAP candidate, when not just DAP but also the candidate herself is against PAS’s hope to implement hudud?

Moreover, the candidate is a Muslim who doesn’t wear hijab.

PAS condemns the PM’s wife for not wearing hijab; but is not complaining when Dyana is also not wearing hijab.

The PM’s wife is not a leader; but this lady is fighting to be a leader!

PAS’s Vice President, Husam Musa also supports the DAP’s candidate:

“We support Dyana not because of her beauty, but her principles,” – Kluangdiamond.

What are her principles?

To vote against hudud and for not wearing hijab?

May be Husam is so fascinated with the DAP candidate’s principles because PAS has no principle!

Mujahid, A Muslim Must Not Lie

I read in Helen Ang’s blog that Malaysiakini reported the MP for Parit Buntar, PAS’s Mujahid Yusof Rawa, made a statement that PAS won’t keep silent as the Christians are bashed.

( helenang.wordpress.com/2014/03/02/christians-telling-world-that-theyre-bashed-in-malaysia)

My question is who bashed the Christians?

Now I wonder, is Mujahid dreaming?

Even though he really wants to become the hero of the Christians, he should be an honest man and must not be a liar.

Screenshot of Malaysiakini's article, http://www.malaysiakini.com/news/255756

Screenshot of Malaysiakini’s article, malaysiakini.com/news/255756

Actually it is Mujahid’s friends who keep on calling other people racist, extremists, low-class and other bad names and try hard to bashed others.

Mujahid should tell his friends to obey the law, follow the Federal Constitution, the Rukun Negara, respect the social contract and study the history of Malaysia.

As a leader of PAS, Mujahid must respect his bosses and listen to PAS’s Majlis Syura before making any statement; or may be Majlis Syura and Dr. Harun Din is not relevant anymore to PAS.

I wonder…

Nurul Izzah Sedang Buat Apa Tu?

Nurul 1

A screenshot from MalaysiaKini. http://beta.malaysiakini.com/news/252630

Above is a screenshot of an article by a pro-Pakatan portal, MalayisaKini with a photo of PKR’s Nurul Izzah.

I first saw the above screenshot on Helen Ang’s blog entitled, ‘Watch the Dapster mob in action’ and I was shocked to see the photo.

I wonder why did MalaysiaKini published the photo; because in the photo, Nurul Izzah looks as if she is ‘praying’, and I wrote to Aunty Helen to ask her opinion.

Comment 1

Watch the Dapster mob in action – Helen Ang’s blog. Please click the photo for larger image.

As a pro-Pakatan portal, I don’t think that MalaysiaKini did that to humiliate Nurul Izzah.

In fact, MalaysiaKini has always been supporting her.

So, what is the message that MalaysiaKini tries to send to it’s readers by publishing the photo?

And how does Nurul Izzah feels about the photo?
