The Nikon International Small World Competition

The winner of the 2014 the Nikon International Small World Competition will be revealed on October 30, 2014.

It is a microscopic photo competition where photos of subjects are taken under microscopes.

Here are some of the stunning photos from the 1,200 entries for the competition received from more than 79 countries around the world.
