Live On Assalamualaikum, TV AlHijrah – Saturday August 8 2015

Live on-air on TV AlHijrah’s Assalamualaikum, August 8, 2015.

This morning, my elder sisters and I went live on-air for the second time on TV Al-Hijrah’s morning program, Assalamualaikum.

The program was hosted by Shahrul Faizie and Irma Hasmie, whom are very nice and wonderful to be with.

This time I was not so nervous since I’ve been live on-air before.

We talked about learning foreign languages. From left is my eldest sister Aiman Amani, my big sister Aeshah Adlina, hosts Shahrul Faizie and Irma Hasmie and I, Ahmad Ali Karim.

I was so excited when my mother told me on Wednesday that we were invited to be on today’s Assalamualaikum.

Today’s topic is about learning foreign languages, we talked about why we want to learn more than one foreign language, how to motivate ourselves and why we chose the languages.

Apart from English which we use at home together with our mother tongue, the Malay language I’m now learning German, while my eldest sister, Kaman speaks Spanish and a bit of Arabic and my elder sister Kashah is learning French.

I always want to learn German since I was a little boy because both of my father and grandfather speak German and I want to be able to converse with them whenever they speak German.

It is not that easy to learn another language, but we can do it if we really want to do it and if we try hard enough because when there’s a will, there’s a way.

It was wonderful to be on air and I hope to have more chances to take part in more television programs in the future.

We were served tasty lontong for breakfast before our turn to be on air.

Being live on-air is a wonderful experience.

Live On TV AlHijrah’s Assalamualaikum – Sunday 28 Dec 2014

Live on-air on TV AlHijrah’s Assalamualaikum, Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014.

This morning I was live on-air on TV AlHijrah’s Assalamualaikum together with my mother and my eldest sister, Aiman Amani.

I’ve been to the TV AlHijrah headquarters in the Pusat Islam Complex before but this is the first time for me to be on a live TV program and I was very excited about it.

In front of the TV station. I sometimes accompanied my father to TV AlHijrah when he was to be on-air.

As we reached the TV station, we waited in the waiting room for our turn be on-air.

Before our turn came, the crew took us for a touch-up and then we were given our microphones and got ready for our turn.

When it was our turn to be on-air, the crew took us into the studio.

In the studio, I was greeted by the hosts Abang Amin Idris and Kakak Raja Sofie Raja Arif.

It was great to meet Abang Amin again.

I was very excited as we were seated and as I waited for the camera to roll-on, my heart was beating fast.

Fortunately, I felt better as I went on-air although I felt quite shivering due to the coldness of the studio.

It was really fun and Abang Amin was a great host.

I had a wonderful time being on-air and really I enjoyed myself.

I’m really thankful that I was given the chance to on a live TV program and I really appreciate the experience.

I shall be on-air in TV AlHijrah’s Assalamualaikum tomorrow morning, Sunday, December 28, 2014.

I guess the segment I’ll be on will be at around 9:00 AM.

It will be a live interview, and I really hope that I’ll be able to do it well, especially since I have no idea what they are going to ask me.

I’m quite nervous for this is my first live TV interview, but at the same time I am very excited about it.

Fortunately I had been on Uncle Nizal Mohammad’s live radio show, ‘When the Night Falls-Bila Larut Malam’ together with my parents and big sisters on March 6, 2014.
