The Wave is an amazing red sandstone rock formation located in the Arizona and Utah border on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes in the Paria Canyon-Vermilion Cliffs Wilderness, on the Colarado Plateau.

Hugo Martin from the Los Angeles Times said:

“You can’t call yourself a landscape photographer if you haven’t snapped a photo or two of the Wave.”

Permit is needed to visit this site and only 20 people are allowed to visit The Wave each day.

The U.S. Bureau of Land Management limits access to protect The Wave’s delicate red sandstone formation and to prevent overcrowding at the designated wilderness site in the Vermilion Cliffs National Monument in St. George, Arizona.

Graveyard is not only a burial ground for human; but it is also a place where worn-out or obsolete equipment or objects are kept.

And there are an aviation graveyards in the United States of America which are full of abandoned aeroplanes.

Also known as boneyard, it is in a dry desert to prevent the planes from going rusty.

At the end of May 2013,  Jupiter, Venus and Mercury form a celestial triangle in the night sky.

The three planets shine together in a triangle formation low in the western sky in a planetary meet-up known as a conjunction.

We can even see them with naked eyes if the sky is clear and the place is not too bright.

This cosmic show is so special spectacular because it includes the three brightest planets visible in the May night sky.

Venus is the brightest of the trio, with Jupiter a close second and Mercury coming in third.

Flickr photographers snapped awesome photos of this very rare and special event.

Photos: Amazing Arizona’s Antelope Canyon By Travis Burke

The amazing photo above shows the famous beam of light that cuts through the Upper Antelope Canyon near the Arizona and Utah border, snapped by Travis Burke.

Travis Burke wrote:

“But there is more to these canyons than this light beam, especially if you venture to the Lower Antelope Canyon, which isn’t as widely travelled but still boasts the same sensuous colours and unique textures.”

How I wish to go there and to be able to snap photos of the amazing natural phenomena like Travis Burke did.

As I always wrote, I really love the nature especially when they are beautiful.

Please enjoy the beautiful photos of the Lower Antelope Canyon by Travis Burke.
