What A Beautiful World, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

The green, green grass,
All over the ground,
Like a natural carpet,
Spreading all around.

The colourful flowers,
Growing on the trees,
Like a beautiful picture,
With that nice little bee.

The vast blue ocean,
All around you,
Like a blanket, it waves around,
Oh, what a great view.

The Sweetness Of Sugar, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Soft, white,
Shiny sugar,
Glittering like crystals,
In a nice little jar.

Used for sweetening,
Your drink or your cake,
Something you’ll need,
When you cook or bake.

Dissolves in water,
Spreading the sweetness,
Making your foods tastier,
Every pinch and scoop.

Clouds, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Clouds, fluffy clouds,
High in the sky,
Giving us rain,
As they pass by.

Sometimes they’re white,
Or grey, or even black,
Bringing heavy rain,
Till the sun shines back.

White fluffy clouds,
Not for you to hold,
Bringing white snows,
When it’s very cold.

Refreshing Water, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Wonderful, awesome,
Refreshing water,
To quench your thirst,
And make you cooler.

As blue as the sky,
Or transparent, as it is,
Filling the ocean,
Or in form of mist.

Comes in many forms,
Hot or even cold,
Used and loved by all,
And it is even sold.

Flags, A poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

The beauty and colours,
Of numerous flags,
Cheering our days,
On poles and bags.

Colourful flags,
In unique designs,
In awesome shapes,
Gleaming in sunshine.

Flags are symbols,
Used by all,
Countries and states,
As well as football.

Chairs, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Chairs, chairs,
Chairs everywhere,
In many colours,
Here and there.

Red, green,
Yellow and blue,
They also come,
With cushions too.

Tall, short,
Soft and rough,
My favourite is,
The ones that fluff.

A Great Day, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

It’s a great, great day,
The sun is shining,
White, silky clouds are floating,
Under the bright, blue sky.

It’s a happy, happy day,
The birds are singing,
The tress are dancing,
In front of my eyes,

It’s a glorious day,
With the sea water glistening,
I feel as if I’m dreaming,
Cause it’s too good to be true.

Veggies, A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

Tomatoes, cabbages,
And potatoes too,
Veggies for everyone,
Especially for you.

Onions and turnips,
Are all very healthy,
Eggplants and carrots,
Colourful and tasty.

Red, purple and orange,
Brown, white and green,
Don’t forget to wash them,
Make sure they’re clean.

A Flock of Birds – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

A flock of birds,
Flying through the wind,
Passing by the clouds,
In the day and night.

Perching on a branch,
Then flying off again,
Hunting for some treats,
At every corner of the world.

Strong through the storms,
Tireless through the snows,
Never will they give up,
In the rain or shine.

Will The Haze Ever Go? – A Poem By Ahmad Ali Karim

The sun is shining,
The clouds are hiding,
It’s gonna be fun,
For today’s a special day.

It’s a very great day,
The birds are singing,
The kids are dancing,
Let’s go out and play.

The air is so fresh,
The day is so clear,
But am I dreaming?
‘Cos the haze’s still hovering.
