Freezing temperatures Tuesday, January 7, 2014 create elongated ice sickles on much of the citrus fruit at Bellamy Grove in Inverness, Fl. Chuck Bellamy, the north central Fl grove operator, said temperatures reached 30 degrees just before sunrise but he believes the fruit was spared damage. He expects another cold morning Wednesday but a strong warming trend is forecast through the weekend.
